Begining at Andy Devine Avenue, Historic Route 66, Hualapai Mountain Road is a 16 mile long paved road that climbs from Kingman, Arizona to the crest of the rugged Hualapai Mountains.

Hualapai Mountain Park - Individuals, organizations and especially families are invited to come spend a day or stay an entire week in the beauty and comfort of nature's mountain glory in cool, clear and green refreshment. There are over 2300 acres to picnic, hike, camp or spend the night in a rustic cabin. The park ranges from 4984 to 8417 feet.

Popular hiking trails reach Aspen and Hayden peaks, while several areas, including Ghett's and Hayden peaks, that are home to radio and television transmitter/receiver towers.

Hualapai Mountain Park has access to literally hundreds of miles of trails suitable for ATV travel. A trailhead offers an unloading ramp, parking and campsites that give direct access to the trails.

Rides begin in the cool pines and you can tour several routes including the Goldking Mine Mansion, Wild Cow loop and Boriana Mine trail that spans over 40 miles of mountains. Motorized use is limited to existing routes. Elevations range from 6,500 ft. in the pines to 1,000 ft. in the low desert. The facility is a fee area that offers cabins, camping and a staging area.

The Hualapai Mountain Resort is located just 12 miles South-East of historic Kingman, Arizona. Among the cool pines, you can enjoy majestic views, hiking, picknicking, camping, wildlife viewing, biking, or just simply relaxing.

The Hualapai Mountain Resort is a great place for romantic getaways, honeymoons, anniversaries, outdoor destination weddings in the mountains, family reunions & corporate/church retreats.

Their ElkCam is now Live! Check out the famous view from their restaraunt right from your home! Then go up and see the elk grazing outside while you dine in comfort.

Just past the Hualapai Mountain Park, is a community known as Pine Lake. The community has approximately 140 homes. Pine Lake is visited regularly by a local herd of elk and many mule deer wander around daily.

The 'Pine Lake' community has a volunteer fire departmen, but assistance from the Pinion Pine community with 2 fire stations, one is staffed full time, is also available.

The Pine Lake area is off-road friendly and there are a n number of dirt roads that lead out into the mountains to the ridges and through the various valleys, canyons and washes. There are primarily two main routes out of the community, Flag Mine Road and the ATV trail head located at Hualapai Mountain Park. A vehicle with moderate ground clearance will let you see some of the area up to Wild Cow Springs, but you really should have four-wheel drive and high clearance from more adventures.

Wild Cow Springs Recreation Site is situated in a grove of oak and large ponderosa pines within the Hualapai Mountains, at a 6,200 foot elevation. Rising high above the surrounding desert, the Hualapai Range is in effect a cool green island surrounded by a sea of cactus and desert shrubs.

This recreation site becomes especially attractive during the summer months, with temperatures averaging 20 degrees cooler than the nearby desert valleys.
