As you continue to go south on Alamo Road you will come to a cut off named "Chicken Springs Road" which is Mohave County 131. It's a fun drive over the mountain and takes you to Wickiup where there is a great place to eat. Well maintained road, slow down and enjoy the scenery.

After you pass "Chicken Springs Road," Alamo Road splits and little further down the road and adds the Alamo Crossing Road. It will re-connect a long way south near Lake Alamo and take you to Alamo Lake, Alamo Dam, and the Bill Williams River, which is the southern border of Mohave County.

If your going to travel these back country road we recommend that you get some good maps at the BLM office in Kingman.
