Golden Shores Arizona
Golden Shores is nestled alongside the Colorado River where people who love the outdoors can enjoy such sports as fishing, hunting, boating, off-roading and birdwatching.

The Colorado River is a major attraction of visitors from all over the world. The river water makes water play a very pleasant experience. With a current of 4 to 8 miles per hour, wakes disappear rapidly, leaving the “smooth as glass” effect that all water skiers are looking for.

The warm desert climate has a winter low Temperature of 40 degrees and normal summer high Temperature of 105 degrees.

The community of Golden Shores has merged with Topock as one friendly community attracting family and retirement living. There are around 3,000 residents in the community just north of Interstate 40, Exit 1. Golden Shores is in Western Arizona . It is in Mohave County.

The town is located halfway between Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City/Laughlin, Nevada. Havasu National Wildlife Refuge lies alongside the town.

The Federal Bureau of Land Management has dedicated this section of highway from Topock to just west of Kingman as a "Historic National Back Country Byway."
