Kingman to Hoover Dam

Texaco Gas & Convenience Store, and yes they have clean restrooms. As with all places where you stop to use the facilities, buy something. That's how they can stay open to serve you.

It is nice to have gas stations out there in the middle of nowhere. Not too long ago it was 90 miles of no services after you left Kingman till you reached a gas station in Nevada. By the way, whereever you travel in the southwest it is a good idea to have drinking water for you, and everyone in your car including pets.

Milepost 28 - There is a small airport runway at this exit.

The top priority of the Entrata project is to create an economic development engine for the region. The primary initial development at Entrata will be focused on the Business and Technology Park along Interstate 11 in the White Hills Area. This development will be anchored by the existing 9,000-foot runway, which will provide future opportunities for regional distribution and logistics.

White Hills - A former ghost town it is again becoming a growing community. The new development of White Hills, Arizona is the vision of Nevada developers, Leonard and Susan Mardian, who have been laying the groundwork with their approximately 25,000 acre master plan community, The Ranch at White Hills. The entire land holdings have a total of 61,250 acres to develop.

1/2 mile south of Milepost 28 is Rosie's Den. Rosie's Den is a famous restaurant along US Highway 93 Milepost 28. It was originally built as a gasoline station in 1933, serving as a pit stop for workers at the Hoover Dam when it was being built. They cooked up pancakes the size of flying saucers until flames quickly destroyed the restaurant in 2011.

In 2013, Owner Rose Larsen was rebuilding Rosie's Den. Currently they still sell lottery tickets and snacks in a building next door. Rosie's Den is in the White Hills, Arizona area and is a popular location for Las Vegans looking to purchase Arizona lottery tickets.
