Antares Road begins at Route 66 and heads north for over 50 miles toward Pierce Ferry Road which is the road to Meadview and Lake Mead access.
Hackberry - A mine discovered in 1874 in Mojave County, started this town and in those early years there was plenty of cowboys for fighting and faro. Unlike the many places that became towns along the Oregon Trail, and the Santa Fe Trail of long ago, Route 66 is a more modern trail across the USA, and maybe it's last of a kind. Hackberry General Store - A fun place to stop
Hackberry Road cuts across the back country and hooks up with I-40 at exit 79, and then on to US 93 just south of the I-40.
